3 Tourists from Gujarat die in Road Accident in North Sikkim

GANGTOK : Nine tourists from Gujarat's Capital City Ahmedabad met with a tragic accident yesterday evening around 4:15pm at Toong Naga in north Sikkim, some 70km from the capital. They were returning to Gangtok on a vehicle bearing registration number SK-01-J/0897 when the driver, LD Sharma, lost control and the vehicle plunged headlong into a river killing three tourists on the spot. Meanwhile, Ritesh Pankaj Kapadia (39) is reported to be missing and a search has been launched. The three deceased are Neena Ritesh Kapadia (30), Yashdhi Ritesh Kapadia (7) and Raj Ritesh (10). The remaining five among the group, along with the driver, have been admitted to Mangan Hospital in serious condition.
